So, what happened to those that have no account on Mos Isley?

TL;DR - states like Texas are passing anti-porn laws, payment processors are freaking out and pulling support, Gumroad lost Stripe support for adult content so they're banning NSFW. Other sites seem to have ammended their ToS or made deals and aren't banning NSFW (so far).

I got a feeling that this will cause a huge backlash. Depending on how many people use Gumroad for NSFW content. They'll lose a huge user base. And possibly a huge money loss too.

The irony being that a government that's physically larger - that is to say, made of more people elected to positions of power, and not just as bureaucrats appointed by those elected - is the smaller government we need. Our population's increased dramatically since the last time we grew our legislatures - most of them are stuck at the same size they were in the late 19th century, because that was an adequate size for the populations we had then. And that goes not just for the federal one, but the states (which are, for 98% of them, needlessly bicameral), and our municipal legislatures whose jurisdictions are a fucking MESS.

Texas really needs a new constitution to stop these constant infringements on the rights of others with the bullshit excuse of "think of the children". Think of your own kids. Keep them off my lawn.
