Yeah so we lost Keenan Allen AND Mike Williams for peanuts, probably gonna lose Austin Ekeler, and once his contract’s done, probably losing Herbert too. In the end, Harbaugh’s just gonna gonna be saying “fuck Spanos” like the rest of us

i fail to see the offensive vision here

the offensive vision is “always lose horribly in the 4th quarter and waste prime Herbert because we’re the Chargers, a fake football team that left its broken soul in San Diego”

well then i’d start looking for your favorite CJ Stroud jersey because it’s only gonna get worse from here. this is gonna be one of the most painful cap crunches for any football team in recent memory, hands-down. we lost everyone that made us good and have no more salary space to fill those holes because we spent too much on Herbert. it’s up to us drafting really, really well this year to make up for those performance losses (hint: we won’t. we draft horribly, actually. we really, really suck with scouting and player development. charger clubhouse culture is no bueno)

we’re now in the phase where we lose our best players that we can’t afford due to the massive Herbert contract, sign cheaper alternatives with lesser performance to stay afloat, and hope guys like Quentin Johnston don’t turn out to be total busts because he is now, officially, our best receiver. no pressure kid. just gotta carry Herbert and everyone else to the playoffs on your back and hope you don’t absolutely suck as much as it looked like last year

our main competitive window we had is gone. we wasted it. now we’re gonna get a couple good years of wishful thinking, failed expectations, and disappointed fans, and by the end of it, Herbert and Harbaugh will leave too out of frustration.

and who will be the only one left? none other than Mr. San Diego himself. Dean. Fucking. Spanos. the common denominator. the one constant in this crooked, crippled, corrupted generation of Chargers football.

I wish I felt bad about my favorite team being a pathetic laughingstock waste of a franchise, but the spoiled snob Spanos siblings truly deserve it after all they’ve put our team through. there is nothing worth rooting for here.
