Glowing whiskers? Dude that's so cool XD

Just curious though, how do you make your whiskers glow in your suit?

After I furred and shaved my head a bit , I slipped one of these Glowby fiber optic hair thinies into the muzzle n.n. The fiber optics pierced through the fur backing quite well. I thought it would give my problems at first XD. My fusuit head is mesh and foam based. The muzzle part is mainly mesh,but area where the wiskers are, is mainly mesh. I took some Clear ModgePodge and generously coated the backing of the fur where the fibers were. It suprisingly kept the wiskers from slipping n.n!
I think I've seen someone cut holes in the muzzle and slip some thin straws into them (to keep the holes open for easy fiber option insertion for foam heads).

Thank you for sharing! SOmeday when I get myself a suit I wouldn't mind being able to incorperate some glowy stuff for dances, I do love them.

:: Nods:: I agree! Maybe could, hmmm, well would need spectacles made for the character, maybe I could incorperate glowies into them somehow? Or web around the glasses... Though not sure how to hide a power source to that.

Still, though for eyes, and maybe something that would work into the earfins... Yeah.

Hehe the ear fins could probably be made our of El-sheets n.n! I don't know x3. I'm just bouncing around ideas. Comming up with fursuit idea's is alot of fun xD.
