"This position will have to suffice, just like you~"_______________________________________________________________________Unlike what most are led to believe, even if Solgaleo or Lunala didn't deem you worthy, this doesn't mean you're completely safe from their acceptance. You could still have good qualities, knowledge, or skill for a specific activity that is needed, a strong attachment to a disciple who WAS deemed worthy or vice versa, or an undisclosed reason that the overseers simply choose not to elaborate on. Whatever the reason, at any point, whatever plans you had scheduled for a day or night may suddenly be veered off without warning... as you're placed on temporary divine service by an available disciple in the area.
These temporary disciple drones are a bit more limited compared to their fully integrated counterparts. For one, they are easily discerned by the always- prevalent lock symbol spanning their visor, instead of their eyes being shown as one would expect. Despite this, they can see just fine. Two, their movements and actions are a bit more sluggish in comparison, perhaps as a result of their captivated consciousness in a perpetual cycle of attempting to acclimate to the sudden transformation, but failing to do so entirely- almost parallel to the philosophy of one attempting transcendence, only to either fail or succeed halfway, leaving a little bit of themselves behind. Third and finally, their stimuli is much more forcibly directed to whomever commands it, be it the disciple who converted them in question, Solgaleo or Lunala themselves, or even a random bystander. To mitigate confusion, obedience priority is dictated by a ladder system- from the two primary sun and moon disciples themselves, then converted disciples, then bystanders. Not counting mortals or bystanders, this is exactly the same as a regular converted disciple; it's simply that anyone can order them to act on anything unless prevented from a higher priority- holding person otherwise.
So what does this all mean? Well, perhaps you should think about where converted disciples spreading the "good word" tend to appear, and if you have some connections or awe- inspiring skills, then unless you want to become a potential target, perhaps it may be wise to keep an open mind... who knows, it might be used for something greater than yourself later on.~_______________________________________________________________________

Well since I like to give every side a chance, drones and latexians by extension do have a weakness (which sadly most sona holders of a similar caliber either don't know or refuse to acknowledge)- being rock salt. Salt's always been a bane to slimy creatures and the like in media/fiction, so latexians and goopy beings shouldn't be any different, really. I'd imagine it would dissolve them like the Wicked Witch of the West in reaction to water.
However, in terms of specific circumstances like the disciple concept (which I should really make a dedicated post on explaining by the way; I know you seem relatively new here and to that I welcome you to this weird district of FA, hello) ...I am unsure how exactly they'd respond, if at all. These are supposed to be demigods in a way, and I'm unsure if Lukos- the OG maker of this concept- accounted for rock salt as a weakness, if at all. If anything, the only real weakness for these beings is straying too close to a black hole and being converted over to Necrozma's side.
I did say in the last paragraph that all you really need to do is keep in mind what one may specialize in and how close in relation you'd be to a common disciple sighting area. (Obvious hypothetical is obvious)
