I don't have many pics of my bat character. And none showing the markings on his back. I just quickly coloured a sketch currently mouldering in my scraps folder.
And I want to do somethig wih his wings, to cover a big expanse of space. Some sort of tattoo. I'm not sure if an RAF roundel works or not. It seems too simple for a tat.
Those white dots by his hips and knees are large piercings in his wing membrane to allow him to wear more than just a poncho and socks. Its an idea I gleefully pinched from Inhuman http://inhuman-comic.com/

Love bat chars <3 Can't wait to see what you do with his wing markings (though I like the ones there already)
In a story I'm working on, the bats all pretty much look the same colour and marking wise within their families, but what really distinguishes them from their siblings it the tattoos (or lackthereof) on their wings. I just thinks tattooed wings are so neat :3
