Suddenly, I'm wondering what such an identity recycling center would be like
Like, there's always so much focus put on the one who just got their identity taken away, or the one who just got a brand new identity. But what about the process of making those new identities?
Sectioning them off, isolating aspects of personality, formative memories, parts of self-image... and blending them together into new forms. Like a Build-a-Bear-Workshop met a Picrew, but for identities, personalities, and fursonae...
