Someone asked if I could upload the previous version of Be a Deer's ending renders to FA, but why stop there?
Here are all of the renders from both versions of the ending, including the brand new epilogue, along with less compressed versions of the thumbnail images! I'm glad most people I've talked with have thought that the more explicitly happy ending fit better with the rest of the game's tone and helped wrap up the story more cleanly than the previous version.
If you haven't played it, here's a link to the game! It's a 3 minute slightly-interactive first-person POV TF sequence.

Edit: Dang, FA re-compressed this because the resolution was over 2560x1440. Here's the epilogue text, since it's a bit hard to read:
Kathy,
I really thought that I would begin turning back after the parade ended. The fact that whatever was preventing you from being able to tell that I wasn't an actual reindeer (I still think the fact that I insisted on wearing my sweater over the harness should have been a tip-off!) stopped clouding your vision right at that point seemed to lend some credence to that idea.
But, it's been over a week now, and I'm still doe from head to toe. Or really antler to hoof, but that doesn't rhyme as well. Honestly though, being a deer hasn't been all that bad! With the weather being like this, I've really been grateful for the fur, and I do have to agree with you, my tail is pretty cute.
Since it looks like I'll be staying like this for the foreseeable future, I think it's only appropriate to wish you a...

Thanks, that means a lot!
Also, while I'm replying, I've (finally) put some more time into modeling Rotom Burnett! (Newer version, with the eyes on their own plane + eyelashes added)
Beyond the fact I haven't added her hair, do see anything else that could use improvement?

Oooh! That looks amazing! Something about the mouth area seems slightly off, but it might be the angle I'm seeing it at. Like, her head is a circle, but it looks like her "chin" area might be jutting in a bit too harshly (not that it'd stick out, it's just rounded). Again though, it might just be my eyes playing tricks on me due to the angle, either way this looks incredible!
thanks!!! Yeah, I'd love to keep making little things like this now that I have more consistent amounts of free time, I've got a few 3d models I owe people but after that I think I'm going to start working on a doll TF one next, and I have lots of ideas for future ones beyond that!
I've dabbled a bit in godot to help with other people's projects a few times, but unity's definitely what I'm more experienced in. I'm not sure if it'd be worth it to make the switch for something small like these, but if I were working with people who were more used to godot I could definitely see putting more time into learning it
