Happy 20th, Monster Hunter! I missed uploading this piece for Christmas, so the second best time to do it is on the day Zinogre wins #1 in the monster poll! This piece is by  Syntex, and is my very first full commission from him, made as a gift for  ashmanthezinogre! The piece features his Solflare Zinogre character, Helios! I was so ecstatic to finally get the chance to get a full commission from him, and even more so when the final result came out looking so breathtaking and precious! I want to stare at it forever for how warming, beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, and soft this piece is!! 💜💜💜

Once a crush of Mizu's, Helios and her had eventually met up and become friends. Her crush may have faded, but her love for him never did; now several years later, the two are the closest of friends, always having each other's backs when a problem arises in their lives. His big, warm personality (and body) complimented Mizu's own perfectly, and together they spent many days and nights.
On Christmas Eve, after Helios' party had ended and everyone went home, Mizu stayed. She wanted to stay the night with him, and simply enjoy some time with her best friend. So they decided to play some games together, a lot of fun! But eventually as midnight drew closer, they grew tired. So they stopped their games for the night and Mizu sat on the living room couch, with the fireplace blazing and the snow falling outside as Helios brought hot chocolate for the both of them. They both changed into their nightclothes (well Helios doesn't have any, he's too warm for nightclothes) and since Mizu felt quite cold even with the fire running, Helios offered to cuddle with her. The two had a nice soft cuddle, with Mizu enjoying the warmth of the large Zinogre's body and very fluffy fur! While she was enjoying his warmth, Helios gradually fell asleep from exhaustion after the holiday's events. Soothed by his warmth and body, Mizu soon fell asleep after him, her arms wrapped around him and his fluffy chest fur serving as her pillow. The two slept soundly under their blanket cuddled tightly together until the next morning.
Their hot chocolate may be cold, but it's now Christmas morning! The jolliest holiday of the year has just begun, and the two had a very comfy sleep to start it off! Now it's time to celebrate the holiday!... but first Helios should probably get some pants on.
