Uhhh maybe, but not really? This is more to explain how much energy they need to exert to keep their base forms. Some characters are just more stable than others.
It's true this principle would also apply to Twinexos, but since they're essentially two slimes piloting one body, working in tandem with your partner could prove to be far more strenuous than just keeping yourself from turning into a gooey puddle.
