I've had this guy up for offer on various places for roughly a year-ish now and FA was honestly the last place I expected to get any flak for them aha!


I 100% am in favor for more diversity and disabled representation though! I don't see how this sort of thing, when done respectfully is a problem though. I think it'd be different if it was a non-disabled person having a disabled fursona? but character I feel is an entirely different and harmless thing!

Truth, there is a nuanced difference between a fursona and an oc!

Your design is respectful and well-made. It'd be a completely different story if this was a fetishized caricature. I hope the people against this realized that if able-bodied people only drew able-bodied characters, we wouldn't have amazing characters such as Hiccup Haddock of Toph Beifong.

i love making floppy ears into a ponytail and since they're a lil sporty I figured it'd be fun haha!

It works so well, both aesthetically and practically since they don't want their ears flopping everywhere while jogging xD

Is this guy still available? I have a whole lil OC family of poodles and they definitely need a disabled member. I'm disabled myself (tho not an amputee), so it's shameful it's taken me this long.

And gosh I getcha! It's so easy to idealize stuff in art that sometimes representation can be a second thought, I'm guilty of that too!
