terby (red) and grant (blue) are two of the darkmatter creatures

grant is very intelligent, but he’s arrogant and haughty and thinks he’s better and more important than everyone else. he has the ability to repair/recreate all forms of darkmatter, and has learned to rebuild himself after being repeatedly torn apart by terby.

terby is a stereotypical stupid brute. he’s got a good heart but he’s very wrathful and doesn’t control his emotions well. he has the ability to destroy all forms of darkmatter, and often picks up grant and tears him limb from limb when he’s completely lost control of his temper.

the two of them are pretty much in charge of how life and death works in the darkmatter world, and they are somehow the least intimidating things there.

they arent really godlike or anything like that, there are a lot of things they answer to, like the crawler.

i thought these were just characters that i made and dumped because they were stereotypical, but my dreams made them real things. so they’re alive and here to stay, i suppose.
