Eeeeee, it's finally done. This took me several days off and on between school, homework, and general life stuff.

New watermark! I made it real quick and I like it. I used the frontal view on Chell's tutorial to map out Herix's face paint for the watermark :3
Nix the watermark, the file doesn't seem to want to change. It'll be on future art here. dragonfiend is my dA name.

References by ChillChell were used as well as an image of Saren for the pose and his feet. OM NOM NOM THOSE FEET. I love turian feet now

Except for a few very irritating straight lines, this was completely done in Sai. I really love this program, except for I can't figure out why you can't draw a straight line by holding down the shift key like you can in Photoshop. Oh well. Not like I'm going to get rid of Photoshop.

I hardly do backgrounds and this image shows that. Also that horrible shadow, it sucks so much x.x
Herix himself is cell shaded. I'm really pleased with how the shading turned out! I think I'll use it more often. I figured out how to cell shade through this tutorial.

Herix is standing guard for Councilor Valern at one of his meetings with the other Councilors here. Of course, I have a completely nude version of this piece as well, which you guys should be looking forward to in the future
