I would lie if i´d say this man´s work didn´t influenced over me in the way i do art, tell my stories and my characters to this day, or his stories and characters, although simple at first gaze, were full of great and positive values like effort, to never give up, friendship, merit and self improvement.
His work did influenced over me in a more than positive way and inspired me even more to keep drawing and doing art at a moment when i wasn´t sure if keep doing it would bring me anywere many years ago, i never knew you presonally Akira, yet i feel like if you always been there with me and everyone who were exposed to your work.
Your work which surpassed the barrier of time and culture, were not just one more anime, but also an escape and inspiration that made great not just the childhood but younghood and adulthood of millions around the planet.
Here is my humble tribute to a great man and artist who gave us a world of thrills, emotions and good vibes and even changed this world to be a better place somehow, at least a little better and with more hope.
Thanks for amaze us, thrill us, and inspire us, We´ll miss you dearly sensei..... thank you!!

...Aye. Here's to a Good man. Dragon Ball, Dr Slump, Sandland, Dragon Quest... And likely many more I just cannot remember at the moment... Geez, Akira Toriyama was only 68 when he went, yet it felt like he left nearly a Century's worth of treasure behind...
Tributes like these carry more heart than what Corporates would speak out... So thank you, Marian0, for doing Toriyama Justice.

Akira Toriyama has also been a major influence since I saw his work in Chrono Trigger then Dragonball. He never really died to me because his influence and legacy is still alive and well and in that respect I feel I should also keep that Influence alive in my art till the day I also die.
The greats are always taken from us way too soon. I'm sure his work is still going to inspire many for generations to come, but it is sad we will never know what his mind could have still shared with us.
I certainly can't say that his work hasn't been a part of my life, from the Dragon Ball anime to the Dragon Quest games which were such fun and entertaining worlds they inspired even some of my characters in one way or another.
