I saw her back hooves and I kind of laughed.
My friend has a female Paint, and wherever her fur is white near her hooves, there's a white streak through them.
Wherever the fur is black, her hooves are black.
Really fascinating, actually O.o
Anyways, she sure is one pretty horse ^-^
I also like the pin-up you did of her with a really glossy mane and tail =]

The hoof-hair thing is actually true in humans too XD It's just how the pigmentation works ^_^ If you ever see someone with like a birthmark near or in their hair, the hair's a different color there too :3 If your friend shaved their horse, there'd be birthmark-like spots where her markings are that judge what the hair color above is gonna be ^_^ It's pretty cool XD

I figured that's how it kind of worked under the skin, but I wasn't aware it effected the hooves O.o

I used to own a Paint gelding, a gorgeous dun overo...I won't lie, some parts of my Butterscotch fursona are based in part on his markings. :D I love overos!!! Though I'm more fond of the Sabino/Splash combo overos, the Frames are awesomesauce too!!! :D
