The feeling explain in part one has been mutual for as long as I remember, it went through allot of processing stages growing up.
What little I know, finding a better place to go helps allot, even if it feels or seams impossible. Taking steps towards it provides hope.
And even then, with the feeling, it doesn't hurt to move again if it doesn't feel right.
I speak from experience, some places are nice but in the shorterm and nothing is bad about getting a little bit out of it (as long as its not at somebody else expense yada yada).

Part two is a nice way to think about it. Although I would say, for what its worth, there's still an entire planet to explore before taking a space trip.
