Contiuing with the uploads and the story, this is an very nice artwork made by the absolutely amazing EsterLaGraia, and if I remember correctly, this was the first commission work she did, ever. I was very excited to be her first client and she did great work of a very wholesome and fun scene of the story. Very nice how it turned out with the two enjoying some downtime during their recovery and playing a card game. I put some thoughts into the game itself on how it's played in-universe, too! Hope you enjoy it!
Chapter 14:
During the following days they started to recover from their injuries and other than that they were quite uneventful, aside from a mighty earful both of them got from their master with the promise of a severe punishment later, to really make them feel the foolishness of their mistakes. Both accepted it without any backtalk, both agreeing that their behavior had been irresponsible.
So was it, that there was not much they were doing aside from resting and some mild chores. It is when Placira brought up a fun pastime in the form of a card game, called "Tribunal Strife", or "Tri-st" in short. Being curious about it, he agreed to play with her and after explaining him the quite strategic rules they started to have some really fun matches.
These quiet days were pleasant for Incendramon, resting, cooking and playing cards with Placira, as well as talking to her. They started to really get along well, too, and he was very fond of her company.
Naturally, they were also talking at times about what had happened, and also introspecting about their fighting capabilities and prowess's. With all they had experienced since then, they vowed to put this experience to good use and spar with one another. Like never before, both had gotten very eager to return to their training, as Incendramon also noticed, his mind was much lighter and less burdened with heavy thoughts these last few days. He couldn't deny that it was the presence and time he spent with Placira that made it so.
Unbeknownst to him, Placira thought similarly, as the experience had broadened her horizon and she wanted to go with a much more open mindset into the future, as Incendramon had also given her a new perspective of what it could mean to become a knight.

Yeah, some more grounded and casual scenes were desperately needed after the tense emotion whirlwind, as you said x3
