Another retake in my current Scooby-Doo gear, posing with my Scooby-Doo read-along comic book-and-audio set from Peter Pan Records! It features two comic stories that pretty much resemble the '70s Scooby-Doo comics in terms of art style, and the record features most of the same voice cast as the late '70s Scooby-Doo cartoons, with the notable exception of Casey Kasem (Shaggy is instead voiced by Duncan Robertson, and he doesn't sound that great.) The music and sound effects are also completely different (the stock music track used to open and close these stories is pretty groovy!) Only the first story, "Scooby-Doo and the Mystery of the Strange Paw Prints," features a supernatural mystery of sorts, while the second story, "Scooby-Doo and the Mystery of the Sticky Money," features the gang uncovering a regular no-frills counterfeiting operation. These stories also feature an early use of the gang's name: Mystery Inc.
And yes, I still need to get something to make my feet look like Scooby's when wearing that costume.
