This whole thing has been really hard for me to take in. Akira Toriyama's work, especially the Dragon Ball series, was not only a huge part of my childhood, but it's also a huge factor in what inspired me. If it weren't for Dragon Ball, I'm not even sure I'd be the artist that I am now.

Both me and my brother grew up on it, as well as pretty much everyone in my neighborhood. I can still remember all those days we spent, trying to go Super Saiyan and pretending to throw Kamehamehas at each other. The video games, the manga... Coming home from school all the time just to see the next episode of Dragon Ball Z on Toonami.

So, I say again... R.I.P, Akira Toriyama. And thank you for everything...
