New Year, new Koibra from our dnd. Creature design by Rinzuchi and Reese Keefe
If my understanding is correct, in Chinese mythology, a dragon's pearl is the source of its power and wisdom.
Chinese mythology also has a myth about koi carps turning into dragons when managing to jump over the Dragon Gate. Even though we've never discussed this with the DM (I'm not even sure the koibra even counts as a dragon), the two of those myths kinda meshed together in my head with my desire to draw the koibra again, so I came up with this piece.
Nightshade dulled the colors on this one somewhat, alas.
