A healthy alternative to fried chicken, something good for the heart and body, not to mention great for those who are diabetic.
The recipe is simple:
your choice of chicken (leg quarters, breasts, etc.)
Garlic powder
Onion Powder
Poultry Seasoning
Pepper
Parsley Flakes
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Season to taste, layer in an 8X11 cake pan on top of a wire rack, (I know that I will get ripped for this) cover with foil and pierce with knife to allow steam to escape. Cook for 75-90 minutes until juices run clear.
Serve with desired side dishes and drinks and enjoy.
Thanks to those who provided helpful suggestions for getting a great shot of the dish. This came out far better than my last submission.

I know it has more preservatives but they were the same calories on the box... and I doubted mac n cheese was telling me the calories with the milk and butter added... (even on boxes where they say "calories when prepared" I don't think they do this...? I dunno) so... I'd be able to have an extra salad if I ate velveeta *pushes fingers together* and I like extra salads.
Watch what you eat, walk regularly, drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, Track your calories and ingest about half of you normally take in (this is going to be hard at first), eat plenty of small meals (IE grazing), have your main meal early in the day and get plenty of exercise.
So far, after a huge like two three long bump, I've been good on the dieting.
It's the walking- at first I was good at it. but now i'm like... ooooh I'll do it later. I'll do it later.
Then.... "It's 10 at night in Chicago I probably shouldn't walk even though this is a safe neighborhood and when I was working I walked him at 1am all the time and was fine."
