The anime community on the western hemisphere was hit hard today with the news that the infamous Manga artist and esteemed creator of the Dragon Ball Franchise, Akira Toriyama, passed away due to acute subdural hematoma; which is essentially internal bleeding in the brain due to a hard enough strike to the head. I may not have been a long time fan like most; in fact, my earliest introduction to the series was on January 16th of 2019, the very night that Dragon Ball Super Broly Movie premiered in the USA, but I can say without a doubt that this incredible franchise has given me so many memories with so many friends that I made thanks to this one man! May you rest in peace Akira Toriyama, and let it be known that you have achieved true immortality by way of the legacy you have built!

Allow me this once more in your name, Toriyama! KAAA… MEEE… HAAA… MEEE… HHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
