God I love the circus aesthetic, this one especially is really pretty!!! I love the background in the sky, it's almost like a sorta. depressed version of the Northern Lights? That made more sense in my head but I hope you get the vibes dshfjdfhs

Tbh I actually get what you mean, I'm actually happy you feel that way about this - because this fantasy-circus world I created isn't all that colourful, happy and cheerful everywhere. So I'm glad there's a hint of darkk or sad in it's atmosphere. :D
The northern lights are supposed to be unusual and weird, so is a lot of stuff in that world "not quite as we would expect" or weird. Want to design a lot more of OCs and stuff but that will take some time.

I love the circus aesthetic too, especially crossed with fantasy, horror and goth elements. But I'm a circus enthusiast since not very long ago.
It started with Black Butler, the manga, wich showed me that circuses can be really cool and mystical.

Since a few years I've visited every little circus that stopped by my little town (for research reasons, of course xD) and it was always a great time, I even got to talk with a staff member a bit, was really neat.
