This is a colored and disgustingly overprocessed version of a drawing that I did for another person during the 2010 anthro-con-vention. However, I was not actually within the convention premises and the recipient just happened to live in Pittsburgh and was not attending the event at any point. Then this might have been weird!

The more complicated something is, the less sense it makes that it makes no sense.
I used to play the first Clayfighter a lot --I even figured out how to make the snowman do that bionic commando attack that isn't explained in the instruction book-- but somehow never got around to the others. Which one has the banana guy in it?

Initially it was just a terrified, badly drawn snake but I felt compelled to add some object to the end coil that would complement the open mouth. It should have been an ice cream cone but those days are in the past now.

The implication was that the bow tie creature fell in the toilet while reaching for the beet but I did not ponder the sketch for very long while I was making it and then even less so while I was coloring it! I fear I am in decline.
I always liked Byzantine sorts of styles but unfortunately it took my current art history class to actually have me looking at the stuff frequently enough to realize "well maybe I should draw some then!" Those windows were not in the sketch at all!
The cone is encased in a crystalline barrier because it is so fancy that it might be stolen. Unfortunately, that does not protect it from Samus attacks.

He was someone I know from the internet. I thought it more amusing to not disclose that up front. He has on ongoing feud with the bow tie creature but thinks the snake with the top hat deserves more exposure. I believe the layout, the industrial context, the beet and the lower right corner were my ideas.
