One of the drawings I started during my recent Picarto stream. The theme that evening was wings and flight. Now on Saturdays when I am not streaming myself along with several others participate in a 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragon game that Caerdwyn DMs. So during the second hour of the stream we give the D&D report.
One of the NPCs who's become a regular in the campaign is the Quasit who goes by the name of Nooblik. Link Now true Quasits usually don't have wings but Caerdwyn has tweaked them for our table.
Nooblik is a frustrated interior decorator who wants to get out hell where he can practice his profession. His traveling outfit is a Sam Spade fedora, necktie, and Bag of Holding Briefcase.

Interesting choice of design for him. :)
Reminds me of a side chamber area in the old Temple of Elemental Evil, T 1-4. There was a long passage in which a mage stationed a quasit familliar to keep watch over, to avoid intruders coming along to interrupt his private rooms. I ran the encounter with the quasit staying invisibile, while stinging a few of the party members while they all marched towards the wizards area.
Each made their saving throws, so the quasit finally darted ahead to warn the mage. Prewarned, the mage put up a bit of a fight, almost killing two of the party members when a fireball caught them off guard when they came out of the tunnel. But to no avail, because as he was preparing to run, two other party members rushed up and killed him.
That's when the real fun began, because as his spirit rose from his body in a wispy form, the quasit streaked from one side of the room, waving his hands in the air above his head, screaming 'You're mine, you're mine! Your soul is mine!' as he cackled before plunging his hands into the forming ghost. Then, with a burst of energy, dragged the mage's soul to the lower planes.
Totally freaked out the party, leaving them confused and worried about what had happened. :)

An excellent(ly horrifying) reminder that even weak, lowly little quasits are still demons that thirst after mortal souls and making deals with one or even being around them is hazardous to your afterlife. As a DM myself, I'm all for terrifying the players in all manner of unsettling ways.
