Great likeness! I must ask though; do you use black in your work? I think it would be a great challenge (and fun!) to NOT use black...but to instead just use colors...compliments n stuff to get shades. (So no gray either!)

I use very little black in my work, and I know where you are coming from :O sometimes black can flatten it a bit. I have been trying to remove it completely but sometimes i find myself using it anyway :P

I try not to use black in more professional pieces myself. :d I just end up laying lots of dark colors or laying violet and yellow all the time.

This is a magnificent drawing! From all I've seen about George Clooney in his public appearances, he'd probably like this very much. Were I you, I would find a way to send it to him! I suggest web-searching for his agency, send a letter with a color photocopy or something (small size) and a self-addressed return envelope, asking him if he'd like the original. Hey, if he says yes...!
