Hmm... where to start.
I may have mentioned it earlier, but I've been working on a pen and paper RPG for the last several months (and really, I started a couple of years ago. And before that I'd been making notes for an RPG since the 90's). I've revised a lot of parts and I think it's finally good enough to [i]start[\i] showing off. I already uploaded a picture of one of the ships (the Yukon) so I'll go to introduce one of the races: the Pritali.
I chose the Pritali as a starting point sort of randomly. I'm going to move outward from there. I'll try to address concepts I haven't covered yet as soon as I can, as well as introducing more races. This being my first upload, there's a lot I should cover like what a darkmatter bridge is, what Panspermia is, and what the family Anthropae is. I guess I could summarize them real quick:
a darkmatter bridge is where 2 coterminous universes can be traversed. Many believe that the bridges were created by ancient, post-singularity races.
Panspermia is a region of space where a large number of sentient species originate from. A large portion of stars have inhabitable planets. Panspermia is also a theory that all life in the universe has a common source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panspermia
Family Anthropae is the biological family of human-like mammals spread across Panspermia. Although most originate from separate planets, they all share a many morphological and genealogical similarities.

It's very much my own system. It's mostly a skill-check based system. It involves 2D10 and a chart. You roll 2D10, look up your character's skill level, and find out what that number is on the chart (which is between 0 and 20). The chart involves a bit of calculus that I don't really feel like explaining.
