Sunlight soon covered the city's street as Neeva headed back home exhausted from her close meeting with death. Her ego injured she tried to hold back tears of defeat, she was almost home and couldn't wait to take a shower then rest for the night or should we say ''the day''.
If only fate were more kind to the yinglet as she heard her named yelled over the other side of the street, a familiar face noticed her presence and gestured her to come sit. Her mind was screaming internally, wanting to tell Mezz off and simply go back home but she remembered what Yan told her '' You can't be a lonesome mercenary'' so she begrudgingly sat down with them.
Drinking a cup of coffee, Mezz began the conversation with typical topics to ease Neeva's obvious distressful expression she couldn't hide. Once it felt like her tensed behavior toned down she began asking question about the request she asked a while ago.
Mezz: Im sorry to ask but i would like to talk about Yan. What did you learn of her, is she a threat or some kind of weapon made by Zerova?
Neeva: A threat? Only to people who try to kill me so far, who she is that i can't answer really. She's still an enigma at the moment, more similar to a guard dog in my oppinion. She's nice with me and vicious to my enemies.... Though again for how long i don't know....
Mezz: What about her combat capability or her intellect? Should i come with a team and take her out before things go out of hands?
Neeva: NO! .. (clear throats) no don't she just saved my fucking life. Look for as much as she can piss me off, i do not believe she is a threat at the moment. I.....guh... She is not that bad... God i hope she never find out i said this.
Mezz chuckled while taking a sip of coffee '' Good then, by the way if you need some more extra cash my boss is seeking extra hands for tasks. I'll let you go since you looked busy but i'll give my number in case you want more merc jobs''. They exchanged contact numbers and handshake before Neeva returned to her sanctuary, having survived another day in this forsaken city.
