My first entry in my series of monsters. This is an atypical 'insect' race, somewhat inspired by an older episode of Pokémon. Stats are for B/X D&D (freely available under several retro-revival versions; personally I use Labyrinth Lord).
This ancient terror is primarily a swarm-style attacker, crawling from below the earth by the hundreds to overwhelm their victims. Luckily they are only found in ancient abandoned locales. Expect a few Geomorphs for a hive of these buggers soon.
