I’m going through difficult time.
Yesterday, I received a distressing phone call from my family about my old man's deteriorating condition. The results are in, and the doctor shared that there has been no improvement. His illness has progressed to an incurable stage. At this point, all we can do is focus on alleviating his pain to ensure he is comfortable. I'm feeling quite helpless as there isn't much I can do besides being by my old man's side until his time comes.

Losing a loved one is never easy, no matter the circumstances. You are right, growing up with a close knit family makes coping with the loss harder, even if I was not close with my dad. I’m trying to stay strong, but it’s hard. Thank you so much for your kind wishes.
