Thank You Mauritius is a what some would say a "paradise island", sadly due to the increase in tourism I fear it will not be for long, tourism and sugar are the two things that brings in the money in to the country and its still a developing country so it needs the money

in some place on the Island they still have shanty towns some of the Houses I have seen where made out of the big metal cargo containers that you see on cargo ships, most of the money Generated by tourism is being spent on re housing and redevelopment of the country so that’s one good thing

When I was last there, in 2011, it was still the same as you spoke of it in 2007; knowing that most of the tourists only stick to the north/west part of the island, avoiding the 'third world' part of the country but also avoiding some of the most beautiful places and the tea plant farms in the south.

Would love to go back again, loved Port Louis; Pamplamousse (think I've spelt it right) and the other places in the south :3

Its wonderful place will ha e to go back just haven't got the time or money at the mo.
