looks like after losing with sonic again, eggman got tired of spending money on fang but with his big genius mind sure he can find a way to make him a bit more useful and "loyal" right? after all a bunch of screws and metal with cables are way more reliable than a simple mobian.

You know I could have actually seen this in one of the classic comics BEFORE Endgame. you have Nack fail for Robotnick again, he decides "you know what I've had enough of your failures now I'm turning you into my property" and thus you got Mecha Nack which would be around.... for an issue or two and for some reason he'd turn back to normal cause they couldn't get away with just mechanizing one of the game characters for like too long. And I will say for a more classic Nack design his mecha form works for me. I wasn't digging the bigger body and feet positioning at first but the more I thought about it the more it fit for what era this design feels more tailor made for so well done on that.
