I do think Nanachi's a guy tbh. I mean, the world will never know but still

What hints point to Nanachi being a boy? They were not really given pronouns in the Japanese version, but she still female in appearance when you compare them to all the other children. The only exception is Maruk, but they HEAVELY imply they are actually a boy, where as they imply Nanachi is a girl many times throughout the series. I'm just genuinely curious where it's implied otherwise because I've seen the anime and read the manga quite a bit. They come across as a tomboy more than anything tbh.

My main reasoning is more sort of the relationship between them and Mitty. It's still ambiguous and Tsukushi-sensei won't budge, but it'd make sense if Nanachi's deepest insecurity is the ability to be the man that Mitty would've truly wanted. Or something like that
