What can I say? It's hard to describe a track which is based plainly upon personal feelings, emotions, and fantasy. If this were a drawing, it'd likely show my very own world full of fantastical creatures and beings, epic battles, and... myself.
Brothers will fight and kill each other, sisters' children will defile kinship. It is harsh in the world, whoredom rife —an axe age, a sword age —shields are riven— a wind age, a wolf age— before the world goes headlong. No man will have mercy on another.
Original Composition, Created with FLStudio 10.
Orchestral Samples included in this recording from the Vienna Symphonic Library.
(And, in case you wonder: This is mixdown #61, with 27 hours and 30 minutes spent with the project file open. And FA upload attempt #3, because the system apparently doesn't like file names with special characters.)

I am very happy with the finaloutcome, especialy since I've wittnessed the creative process of that piece.
I like the sheer variety of sounds and shapes and I -so- admire that you avoided the "being to generic"-trap with so much success again. I was worried this time... a bit ;)

I think all of your songs are kind of like that. I think you're a worldbuilder like so many creative minds before you. The images that go through my head are often a lot like those Imax nature films where they shoot those wide, sweeping landscapes from a helicopter. The screen fills your whole field of view so you feel like you're flying. Your ability to replicate that feeling with two earbuds and a 14" laptop is nothing short of amazing. I see fields of grain, rolling hills that fade into distant, imposing peaks, and I can even feel the plight of those that dwell within the valley. This one had a lot of different emotions in it. It tells a very dynamic story and commands my attention. The fanfares were beautiful while still hinting at some underlying conflict, a battle yet unfought... Excellent work.
Under the Creative Commons license, does that mean I can not use this piece in an advertisement for a game clan? To my knowledge, since it's not for profit, unless adding more people to a group is considered commerce, and it would only be used as music in the background for a video.
