I suggest playing that game XD
The Wii version is great for the neatness of painting with the motion detection, but the PS version has the end credits in the original format (including Ms. Seal's custom Seal - you put your name or a picture or whatever on it when you go to Issun's hometown and it shows up in the end credits) that the Wii lacks. It depends on your preference.

"Her" is the term you are looking for, Amaterasu IS the MOTHER of the main character of the sequal Okamiden, after all. (although Okamiden isn't as good as Okami because Okamiden has forced story progression, a less interactive style of painting then the Wii version, and it is Shorter than Okami)
