maybe if you put the broadcast a little to the left so that the mast goes through the "r" also? just an idea..
or to the right so that it goes through the "b". But i can not try so i can not say how it will lookl like exactly. Do as you like ^.~

Both logos are cool, but this one is better because it spells out the name so it's clear. I would hyphenate Bare-Boned.
