It certainly wasn't Brandon's fault. Brandon Hess (Clydesdale Horse, C) wasn't trying to do anything fancy when he jumped for that rebound and came down on his hoof wrong, snapping his leg.
It wasn't the trainer's fault. Brandon was healthy when the game started. It was just a freak accident that his leg landed the way it did.
It wasn't the coach's fault. There was no way Hess could play after the injury, and Paul Teronura (Otter, C) was the only fur left who could play center with the team's playbook.
It wasn't management's fault. They had to get rid of Cletus Swinton (Pig, C) after his personality conflicted with the team, and with the old caps in place, the budget wasn't there to sign another pivot.
It wasn't the FBA's fault. The schedules had been drawn up in September, and there was no way they could change them now, injury or not.
It wasn't the Minutemen's fault. They were all set for the Moonshiners to arrive right after their last home game-- which was standard procedure-- and for the game to start on time the next day.
And it wasn't the fans' fault. They paid to see a good game, and they were entitled to it.
It really wasn't anybody's fault.
It's just that 7 foot tall, 300-pound otters shouldn't have to play 48 minutes straight.
Long overdue commission for
buckhopper, including the description he entered when posting.
Feels so good to be productive again, and have art back underway once more!

Nice stuff. The image alone draws me and captures my interest in that I`m wondering what the heck`s going on here, and the somber atompshere gives me a slight hint that captures my interest further.
And while the text adds a lot of great context to this image, too, even without it, the drawing alone remains a fascinating piece. Again, nice stuff. :3
