The Twilan are the most populous and most successful order of post-humans.
Their ancestors were the descendants of the Yussons who chose to reject
the hubris of the time. As a result they were the only group to maintain some
small ties to the world before the Great Gaze, Twilan are extremely varied
all Twilan are hybrids between ancient humans and ancient terrestrial animals.

Twilan politics are often split between the Prey-Predator axis, with omnivores
caught in the middle as each side of the divide has cultural and instinctual
drives that, in 1241, cause conflict that before caused wars. Twilan are
complex, practicing various religions, cultures, and unique languages.
