The last few memories of Ithulmia were like a hazy, distant dream, as I awoke elsewhere – a living nightmare without end in sight.
Luyarnha… a city marred in eldritch power – tormented by centuries of war, despair, deception, and death. Tallfolk seemed to have that in common no matter what world they hailed.
Still do not know how it is I came here or why – but knew then, as soon as I gazed into those eyes of newfound kin, I’d found another to live for. Was not words we first spoke with, but action – our lives in each other’s claws.
Fueled by anger and grief all the same – neither he or I would let the madness steal our minds, or let the beasts take our lives.
In the brief moment of repose offered by the warmth of each other's bodies... we vowed, where two were one -- we would start a new clan.
