'Oh shoot there's a river in the way', Nightshade thought. He'd have to jump it, so taking a step back he ran forward and jumped. Landing on the other side, he noted that even though the river wasn't particularly wide, he'd cleared it far more comfortably than he should have. 'that's odd' he thought looking behind him at the river he'd crossed, "Huh that was more of a leap than I'd expected" he wondered out loud. Completely oblivious to the fact that his wings had disappeared, his ears had lengthened, his tail had grown more pointed and less fluffy, and his feet where now significantly more adapted to hopping about. I'm sure he'll figure it out soon
