The cavern was so immense that the shimmering magic energy barely managed to illuminate anything beyond a few metres. The caster powered up the spell to reveal the shimmering ruby scales of the great beast staring down at them, its large wings outstretched. There were two of them, weren't there? The distant echoing glow of pale ivory hide lay still in the far distance, whatever was once below here with this great guardian had already fallen. a dull booming voice rang into the spellcaster's mind palace.
