Well I recently watched all four Critters movies. Ah some fond nostalgia there. And well that inspired this pic here. Now I'll do this as his creator's Log entry.

Project "Adaption"

"The project goes well. The Crite DNA we recovered from earth was viable. After years of study and attempts I believe we have finally met with Success. The Crites sadly had to be exterminated due to their vicious dangerous nature. It wasn't their fault it was just the way they were as a species. Our project was to revive the species in a viable way. One which would curb their aggression. Crites have many advantageous natural abilities. They are strong, fast, have keen senses, and can fire quills loaded with a heavy tranquilizer. But these all pale when we note their true strength. The Crites possess a form of genetic memory. Any Crite born will learn their language and take on a basic knowledge skill set. Most are capable of even piloting space craft. Criz here was our first success. His maturation rate seems to be different through from pure crites. His size may increase as he matures. There are Crites on record larger than a human. But for now Criz is not quite as large as the average mature Crite. He has show significant intelligence and demonstrates no real aggression beyond what you would expect from your average child. He can be mischievous though and he has a pension for taking things apart. On top of that he seems to love to chew on anything. We've finally found a pacifier that will hold up to his chewing. We've had Criz in diapers since he hatched for Cleanliness reasons. We recently attempted to train him. This has not been successful. Crizz had frequent accidents and on top of that was less than cooperative. I believe their may be a contingency issue related to our alterations. I'll need to perform some checks of his genome. But this is not seen as a major issue. It will either be resolved or it won't. If not than it is a small price to pay to have such a powerful species back and with true sentience to aid the galactic community. Hmmm. It's much too quite in the play room. I bet Criz is into something. End Log."
