THE KitKat for my
pegasus442's birthday. He LOVED it!!!
Hand made, and hand carved.
I borrowed my mom's hand for a size comparison.
You will need:
Glass bread pan (easier to see when pulling it out of the pan, metal acceptable)
saran wrap
1 large bag of milk chocolate
12 vanilla wafers
1 damp hot towel
double boiler
a cold place to store it overnight
Instructions:
Line bread pan with saran wrap, attempt to smooth out corners (won't be perfect)
In a double boiler melt 2 cups of milk chocolate at a time (stirring continuously, medium to low heat).
add chocolate and while still warm layer vanilla wafers alternating until three layers of wafers are covered in chocolate (give a small line of chocolate to all sides)
MAKE SURE TO LEVEL EACH CHOCOLATE LAYER
Refrigerate overnight
Wrap the towel around the pan to SLIGHTLY melt the kitkat, flip kitkat onto plate and return to refrigerator for one hour.
Slice thin when serving
