Ponto de vista: você é o Sérgio comendo torta; esse é seu irmão querendo torta também.

ID: A colored sketch of a bicolor orange tabby cat viewed from a high angle. He wears a black and white striped shirt, and he is sitting on the floor, slightly smiling, looking up with pleading expression. The bright of the eyes is slightly animated. Offwhite background. End ID.

This is perfection!
The perspective here
is helped so much by the stripes
of the cat's shirt, and then by the cat's own markings!
The sense of volume and immersion into the point of view looking down is hypnotic!
And the animated bright eyes that radiate the endless, universal love for 🍰The Pie🍰!
And it is made so much better in the context
of that chaotic show, where a bass player
eating on the floor is the most normal
thing on display!
That's Samuel, right?
Congratulations on creating this!
This MamonaCat is a perfect statuette of polite hunger,
and any animation is a cause for celebration!

AAAAAAA, thank you!
I just tried to be as realistic as possible in depicting Sérgio's point of view, Samuel just poked him in a very cat-like manner, all the scene was just so cute! And Sérgio handled the pie away so fast, seamlessly, naturally. Sharing food is peak care and kindness, and these few seconds were a delight to watch. I didn't found these alone, it was a highlight in a local, behold, Facebook fan group. I'm glad that you like my version of the facts!
And you are right, Brazilian television during 90s Sundays afternoons was... something else. I don't know if I point other... peculiar moments, or just let you discover xP

Before buying your one way ticket to Brazil, well, in a country with 200 million people and exuberant diversity, it is expected that a few millions will have this disdain for others, even other fellow Brazilians...
Police brutality, genocide against Indigenous people, racism, hunger, poverty, inequality, homophobia/transphobia, and general violence are still a big problem here, not to mention the still present bolsominions. Not a surprise that a have a considerable number of friends that left and are living in Global North. I wanted to left for some time, but now I'm glad I stayed to try to make things better.
Also, many good people here face adversities and tragedies with humor. Well, even these big Carnival parades are full of statements of resistance.
And it's true that in external politics we have a strong tendency to diplomacy (not that we are all love and peace, but still mostly)

Of course, no country is a paradise, and it's dangerous to idealize
any community, no matter how bright and virtuous is its public image.
Thank you for keeping aware of your land's shortcomings,
and for being prepared to oppose them personally,
and to rally your friends to the good cause!
Let's hope that things will only get better with 🦑Lula🦑 in office!

Yeah, I just don't want to attract people - you or other readers - without some... safety warnings.
Conversely, I don't believe in hell either - you have no idea in how many Internet fist fights I was involved trying to explain this basic fact xD. Even many Brazilians think we live in some banana republic unsolvable dystopia, it's a very common idea, but that defeatism and self-hate is very reactionary in so many levels... anyway. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I firmly think every place in the world has a share of people with good intentions. Some of them are struggling in harsh circumstances; others are trying actively to unlearn all prejudices of the past and present of their own culture, and trying to make of better world. In some places they are a big crowd; in others, a minority. But I have faith in them 💗
And yeah, let's hope 🦑! Some things could be better, but at least we are in a way more favorable position now.

Yeah, this poisonous self-sabotaging skepticism about the possibility of improvement
is the leaden anchor that drags everyone down and drains all faith and energy.
Many Russians project their air of proud superiority
everywhere they go, but among ourselves,
we're the most self-loathing people
in the world, feeling like all these
dictators and police violence
is the only thing we deserve.
Free, just and prosperous societies
begin with dignity and responsibility,
mutual trust and respect, empathy, and it can be hard
to get people to believe in themselves, and the brighter future.

Now you made me realize that this idea of superiority it is exactly the opposite of self-love... and the biggest self-love is this will to try to build a better, more compassionate world. I really have hope to see it for you sooner or later, and, in the meantime, I'll be here sending cheers and colorful pictures from the other side of the Atlantic!
Thank you for sending all the intercontinental deliveries of love and beauty!
Building a rainbow bridge across the ocean!
And you're right – empathy starts with knowing yourself,
and improving the world starts with deciding
that others deserve have all the good things
that you have enjoyed in life.
When we say, "Meh, I'm fine with suffering".
often than means that we resign ourselves
to live in the world where everyone suffers.
