Looking at this is something of a window into my drawing habits. I originally drew this as a picture print for sale at Anthrocon in 1998 and so a lot of my old drawing habits are on display here. The interesting thing is that I don't see a lot of major changes between now and then except for a greater awareness of those habits and an effort to polish up some deficiencies here and there. This means when looking at my work output today I feel good about the improvements to my drawing "formula", but somewhat anxious because I feel trapped in a box by not deviating strongly from that established formula into newer, stronger territory.
