He asked for 'whatever' for Frolic, so I read that as 'loud and pink'. :D
Two things have been learned. One, that putting a thicker satin line along the white fleece helped this head, no new pics yet though.
Secondly, gonna try fabric eyes next, as admittedly, some folks find the open-eye thing a tad creepy, so lets see if we can change that n stay soft n floofy :D
All of this on the new sewing machine too, as my old one of some 15 years of daily use has finally expired. *sad face*

Get a junk printer and scotch tape some super thin fabric to it and print some eyes. I've done it with very thin tight woven plastic mesh and it works great. depending on the fabric you may need to darken the backside of the fabric because of the light bouncing off your face and back into the mask. IDK just sharing an idea.
Yep, all very good ideas, and thank you for sharing.
I black the backs of eyes for the same reason (especially in dark club environments with bright lighting) to cut out as much glare as you can. As for the painting, I prefer the free-handedness of my airbrush ^.^ Sometimes a bit of a painting glitch makes the world go 'round.
I have used the printer method to make cheapass quick decals :D Plastic tape on wax paper. Print n cut.

Thanks man. Hey, when you sew vinyl, are you using a linear stretch stitch? (2up1back) or like a simple stretch overlock (not on the serger).
Not having a pile of fur to worry about is opening up so many options. Well, that and breaking my old Pfaff and getting a new Janome yesterday makes such a huge difference too, like, night and day. My satin stitches are so much easier now :D

In the past I used our machines linear stretch to conserve seam allowances. But with the baby-loc serger I can use a true over locking stich so Ive started doing all my stretch projects on it. Its amazing what a difference a machine for stretch and supple materials can make for making nice stiches :)
