I was doing some random sketchings this morning, since I was practicing for some of my other pics I have to do, and I sketched this up and I decided to see how far I could get before going to work, and I actually finished with a bit of time to spare, I sorta time-trialled myself on this one and finished in about 5 hours.
Basically it was looking like a normal inflation pic but there was an idea I just had to try out.
The bat was going on a mountain hike to relax, and while walking about in the woods he pricked his toe on a large thorn belonging to a weird looking flower, it hurt but he ignored it for a bit.
He eventualy started to feel bloated with something, bit by bit his clothes felt tight and he began to turn red all over, his fur shrinking and eventualy he was coated in a shiny fruit-like skin, before he had time to run for help his body became too swollen and he was stuck in place, left there to grow and grow~
He grew a stalk on his head and began to gain plant like characteristics such as feeding off sunlight, poor bat hopes he can take it a little while longer, he'd hate to blow up, but his entire body feels so tight, he's worried that he's become a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off~
As a random bit of useless information I drew the entire pic while relistening to nothing but ToddinTheShadows reviews, that guy's awesome~
EDIT: Just realised his chest is under his mane, I knew something looked really off...whoops

That's awesome =D I love the spin on the berry transformation/juice filling idea! Must be a rare flower though, he's the only fruit out there! I'd ask if it's fun to fill up into macro sizes, but it looks like he's grown far too full to do much X3 Might be kind of exciting to feel near-bursting though~
Oh cool, I am -just- now listening to Todd's work XD That's one heck of a coincidence!

Nobody expects the power of cherry! Looks like it's about to make a grand debut and with quite a display ;)
You did an amazing job at creating a perfect scale of how huge you look within this image. The portions and sizes of every part of your body, along with how you used the angle of the view and the background/foreground really makes a wonderful impact on this image. You truly get a realistic feel for how huge you've become and that makes looking at this all the more enjoyable :) Great work on your proportions on your body. The sheer scale of your belly fits perfectly to the intention of the image while your limbs and sides match in sync nicely. I like how you also added wider portions within your arms and even gave your paws a nice sizing to match them instead of them sinking in like others do. It's nice to see some variety and that you went for the full sizing treatment :)
Your curves are very well drawn and I like how your lines almost don't seem to exist, making everything feel cohesive and realistic in appearance. Some you can almost distinguish the different 'parts' an artist made, but this looks like it was all fluidly made at once, so very cool and nice with that :) Your style really brings out the fun and excitement within this image too, fitting perfectly to the drama unfolding.
The coloring is beautifull done. Even when using red and pink as a major color, you found very unique ways to add variety and depth within them. Great work with the lighting and shading effects and giving that slight touch of variety within and around your body. Plus, good idea to also have made your body like the color of a plump cherry ;) The shine effects are a real treat too, perfectly revealing that sense of tension and tightness without having to rely on the cartoon styled quiver lines made around the body. The reflection of the sun and the smooth curves fit perfectly together and you made them work wonders :) Your expression and face fit nicely too and also add to the sense of pressure as your cheeks squish and press closely into your snout and face and even into your chest. Also, I like how you have your wings almost fully hidden, but just barely within view too for further depth purposes ;)
One other small detail about your mane is that it looks a bit off center from your neck. It looks like it is angled to face the viewer instead of facing his direction. Just something to watch otu for next time, but it's not anything major ;)
Amazing work on this! =D

Yeah the mane was added kinda last minute as I was almost forgetting it and when I added the chest coloring on where the inflated neck should be I later on realised that the mane looked really off XD Though I usualy dont make the same major mistake twice, as I usualy examine and critisize my art alot so I can always get better ^^
Heheh =3 I love the effort you put into the full analysis, I'm glad you like the image~ ^^

Yeah I figured that after reading your comment in the description that you knew all about it XD Well it's always good to make mistakes sometimes because it helps you to learn and grow ^^ Plus it is a good habit to critisize your own works ^^ At least it wasn't a major mistake since it doesn't detract from the image =D
Thank you as well and I do. It's a lot of fun to look at ^^

Man, this is great! The lighting, colors and the storyline is quite creative, actually speaking. My eyes can't actually stay away from the artwork. There are not so much fruit/berry inflations/TFs in this world. Also, yeah. The mane seems TOO far off. But anyway, keep doing the good job!
