Whatever tale Tika was excitedly sharing, Tabis seemed to be more than happy to listen.
After all, this warm summer day was one of the few quiet days they had in those times.
The warm summer sun, the gentle trickle of the fountain behind them, the tasty meat pies - and most importantly, the laughs, smiles, and genuine happiness made Tika wish it'd never end.
It almost felt like they were like a cub and her dam. Even though she'd not dared to admit it to Tabis back then.

In the days and weeks that followed, Tika quietly wished that all days could be like this.

Little did she know back then that about a year later, they would be staging their little uprising and split off from their warband, to go and pursue exactly this kind of peaceful happiness.
And that she would always fondly remember this one summer day as the day that set off the spark for it.

Taken from a sweet RP about a year ago, I always knew I would want it depicted in art someday.
And when recently, I saw how wonderfully  salriaah draws backgrounds, I knew immediately that I found the perfect person to draw it!
