Greetings!

A touch late releasing this one, apologies for the delay! Weekend was insane, just wasn't enough time to get it done.

A heavily shadowed forest is the scene for this month's YCH. Aarvid's been sent out on a mission to investigate reports of a huge, bloodthirsty monster terrorizing a town. Villagers have gone missing, or returned to town injured and panicked, whispering of menacing, glowing eyes appearing before them, followed by huge fangs and sharp claws lashing out from the darkness.

Aarvid arrives on the scene of the latest attack, studying the gigantic paw prints left on the soft forest path, the huge claw marks carved through giant tree trunks. A low growl rumbles through the dense foliage, echoing all around him. He forms his stone gauntlets around his arms and steadies himself, waiting for the beast to make it's move. Suddenly, leaves rustle behind him and he turns to face the hulking mass of fur and muscle leaping from the shadows!

This YCH will be a single, SFW artwork, intended for canine characters of any gender. I will also write a short transformation scene for your character, detailing their shift into a huge, were-form just prior to the scene depicted in the artwork.

RULES / HOW TO ENTER

If your character is interested in playing the big, bad wolf of this story, show me what they've got! Do two things:

1. Watch my page
2. Comment down below and show off your character's reference and/or best photo! If you only have a reference, that's fine, but images that show your character doing something (posing, an activity, etc.) will be much more effective at getting your character chosen!
>>> You may only enter ONE character and ONE picture besides their reference sheet, so choose wisely! You're disqualified if you try and enter more than that. Don't send me albums or galleries.
3. (Optional) Make a journal sharing this YCH. It's not required, but I greatly appreciate the support and I do consider if you've shared a journal when selecting a character.

Some guidelines to help your character get chosen:
* be an adult, anthro canine character (any gender is okay).
* for this YCH, your character does not necessarily need to fit the body type shown - you just have to be okay with having them transformed to fit the scene. If they already have a reference or artwork showing off a were-form or are already huge and muscled to begin with, that's great, but I am primarily considering interesting character designs and characters that may be fun to write a transformation scene for.
* the artwork you choose can be the key to getting picked! If you only have a character sheet, that's fine, but choosing an image that shows off your character's personality and suggests they'd fit the situation will do a much better job at getting them chosen.

Deadline to submit your character is Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 1200 MST. After that, I will be choosing a suitable character for the YCH and contact the winner. There is no exact timeline for completion of the artwork, but I try not to let artwork stay in my queue for more than a couple months.

If I choose you, you can specify:
* some changes to your character's expression or body type. Muscle mass, amount of coarse fur / thickness of mane, longer/shorter tail, adjusting to feminine/masculine body type, stuff like that is fine to change so long as the general theme of the YCH remains (huge, dangerous were-canine leaps at small marten).
* details of any clothing or accessories your character might still be wearing post-transformation (torn clothes / piercings still on the body?). If none, featureless nudity is acceptable.
* things or details you'd like to see in the transformation scene (remember, SFW so it can be shared with the artwork)
