Her home burned to ashes, the strange behaving nevrean walked back to the familiar stairs leading to a friend's home. She knocked a few time, waiting for an answer as she stared at a large spider on the wall. She smiled trying to lure it '' hello my fellow spider, would you like to be mon amie?'' she asked, the spider did not appreciate being disturbed as it scurried away.



The door opened to a confused Merry looking at her leaning towards a wall, she asked in a friendly yet mildly bewildered tone '' hum.... Zahi?''. The nevrean slowly turned towards her '' hello ma chère, i am sorry to trouble you but without money and a washing machine i am afraid.... i cannot clean zhe filth from my body''.



Always welcoming, Merry invited her in sharing a cup of coffee and speaking of menial subject before showing her the bathroom. She asked if she could be alone for a while as she needed to take a shower as well, Merry obliged and sat in the living room and continued watching her tv series.




She quickly paused the television hearing a strange slimy noises coming from the bathroom, she felt embarrassed to knock and asked if everything was alright. Her wing gently hitting the door slowly pushed it open as it was not closed, revealing a scenario that left Merry completely speechless and Zahi flustered.






''Well zhis is awkward....'' said Zahi blushing heavily trying to hide her body, Merry couldnt not cease to stare at the inexplicable . Her limbs were made of mannequin parts, a strange floating liquid seemed to be linked to her body slowly entering the washing machine. The silence was deafening , unable to endure it long Zahi tried to explain plainly '' I... wish i could explain my situation but zhe less you know zhe safer you will be from zhe wrong people... but hum.... well..''.





Merry slowly approched and leaned foward staring at the liquid substance '' Does.... does it hurt?'' this reaction left Zahi speechless as well. She expected screams of terror, yells of confusion or simply her frozen like a statue unable to comprehend, yet she asked a question as if this was routine for her.




'' Not at all, do not worry mademoiselle. See... i can turn liquid, i don't need air to breath and my body is always cold. I am not one for dresses so i wear zhe same clothes, i may not stink like flesh being but a good wash always feels nice. Is just... its cheap for me to wash myself at zhe same time as my clothes, 2 birds wizh one stone''.




With a childlike wonder, Merry was more excited than repulsed '' wow! Neeva sure is good at finding interesting fellow hehe. Don't worry your secret is safe with me but.... maybe use the shower just this once, it won,t feel right knowing you are crammed in a machine''. Zahi chuckled and nodded, both smiled as Merry allowed her some privacy returning to her tv show.



Slowly entering the shower, Zahi couldnt help but smile, she never had a friend outside of her past life before she became this. A small shimmer of hope filled her soul and a huge relief Yan stopped them from wiping out Neeva creating a worst world for herself.
