The lady came in with her mouthbreathing son & told me she was just looking, & it was clear that's all she was doing, so I felt safe to doodle. Soon I felt...a presence!...looming over me. There she was, craning her neck to look over my shoulder. I was still shy back then so I hunched over rather than tell her to piss off. And she then accused me of being a satanist, because I was “wearing a pentagram & drawing the horn-ed beast.”
